Welcome to the MU Digital Library, your home for the University of Missouri--Columbia's unique digital collections. The MU Digital Library platform provides the University of Missouri community with a secure space to store, preserve, and share various forms of digital content.

The MU Digital Library is based on an open-source software framework, run on Islandora(link is external), designed to help institutions and organizations and their audiences collaboratively manage and discover digital assets using a best-practices framework. Islandora was originally developed by the University of Prince Edward Island's Robertson Library, but is now implemented and contributed to by an ever-growing international community including the University of Missouri.(link is external)
