Two faculty members are selected each year for this award, after being nominated by their undergraduates and reviewed by a committee of prior Mentor Awardees. Undergraduate Research Day at the state capitol
"Congratulations to the fourteen students selected to represent MU at the UM System Undergraduate Research Day at the State Capitol! This annual event was scheduled for Thursday, April 2, 2020; however, was cancelled due to the pandemic. Students applied early in the fall semester and then attended a series of workshops and meetings to prepare for this annual event. A list of projects appears below, along with the student names, hometowns, majors, and faculty mentors."
