First canticle reads: "Lumen ad revelationem gentium, et gloriam plebis tuae Israel" (from the "Nunc dimittis"). Many beautifully decorated initials with penwork in red, blue, purple and yellow. Folios 45v and 59v show human faces in the penwork. Board and vellum binding. 10.7 x 7.5 cm.
